After breakfast this morning we decided to stay at home since the weather looked dreary. It was cloudy when we finished eating, but it wasn't raining yet, so we went outside by 8am for some playtime. Daddy did some work in the yard as I watched you all play. After about an hour it started to rain, so we packed up all the toys and then headed inside. You all were overdue for a bath, and were covered with sidewalk chalk, so I put you three in the tub for a bath. Daddy stripped the beds and started the laundry.
When everyone was clean, we had a midmorning snack. Then, we came upstairs for some playtime. Daddy did some work on the computer as I played Mario Cart on the Wii with Joshua. The girls watched and had fun seeing the rain come down.
You all cleaned your plates for lunch! We came upstairs after for a photo session. I think we got one to use for our 52 week photo project. ;-) Then we attempted rest time. Faith fought it, but then fell asleep. By 2pm, Grace and Joshua were still fighting it though both were rubbing their eyes. By 2:30pm Grace was asleep as Joshua continued to fight it. I finished going through all the newborn clothes for Coconut and Cookie Dough. It took out all the pink items and put the rest of the clothes in a rolling cart for our room. :-)
Once everyone was awake, we cooked dinner. Everyone eventually ate .... even all their apples! We played downstairs with Legos after. Then, we played upstairs before bedtime. You all watched a little cartoon movie and I continued to go through clothes. I think I have newborn to 6 months set aside for the twins. I also have three garbage bags of girl clothes of the same size. ;-)
