Today we're 28 weeks gestation with Coconut and Cookie Dough. Next Friday is our next appointment with a growth ultrasound. Keep praying for a healthy pregnancy and for healthy little baby brothers! :-)
We'll since our irrigation system banged on at 5am this morning, I decided to just get up. I went into the playroom and was cycling by 5:30am. :-P I was showered and dressed by 7am when you all were waking up.
After a relaxing breakfast as a family, we headed out to Target for some groceries. You all each ate a cookie while there. Then, we came back here to unload and regroup. Since everyone did so well, we had a fun lunch out at PDQ. Wow .... you all cleared your plates and daddy even got you all a cookie as a reward! ;-)
We stopped by Ace Hardware on the way home and picked up some potting soil. Once home, everyone got in their bathing suits and we filled the pool up on the driveway. You all had fun playing in the water, drawing with chalk, and playing in the yard as daddy did some yard work. I replanted our marigolds since they've gotten so big into three bigger pots. Then, we planted some new seeds with a mix in it that's suppose to attract butterflies. We'll see if they sprout too. ;-)
By 3pm we were all back inside with clean clothes and water. We tried a rest time, but that didn't work so well. So, by 4pm I started cooking. I prepared and baked two casseroles to freeze .... a cheeseburger one and a sausage breakfast one. Now, we have three casseroles in our freezer for when Coconut and Cookie Dough come. ;-) Then, I cooked dinner. Whew! That was a lot of time in the kitchen!
After dinner we watched the new Lego movie. You three had sleeping bags on the floor with popcorn. Joshua got in trouble for kicking Faith in the head, but once that was resolved everyone settled down. The movie ended late though so we had a later bedtime.
