Stanley Cup Finals

Dearest Miracles-

Happy Tuesday!

Today Grace, Faith, Jacob, and Jeremiah had exams.  Tomorrow you four have exams again and then all the exams will be done for this school year!

Jacob and Jeremiah, this was your last Mileage Club at Abbott's Creek Elementary School.  I did a 2 mile run on the Greenway at the same time. 

This evening was Game 1 of the Stanley Cup finals .... our Carolina Hurricanes vs the Las Vegas Golden Knights.  This game was in Raleigh and game two will also be in Raleigh.  The Hurricanes have only won the Stanley cut once back in 2006.  We watched the first period and then headed to bed since people have exams tomorrow morning.  It was tied 2-2 when I last checked before going to bed.  Go Canes!

Final Exam Testing

Happy Monday!  Today was a work and school day for everyone.  Some of you all had testing:

Joshua - Business final exam

Grace - Math 3 final exam

Faith - Math 1 final exam 

Tomorrow you all will have more testing:

Grace - Biology 

Faith - English

Jacob and Jeremiah - Math

Joshua, you're done since today was your final exam for all classes .... so you're officially on summer vacation!

This evening I took everyone to taekwondo class.  The rest of the week is various belt testing .... ours is Friday.

Scout Afternoon

Happy Sunday!

Daddy played at church in the Praise Team this morning.  We watched church online since the girls had an early Girl Scout meeting I had to get them to.  Then we all went to the T321 meetings.  We had Scout meetings from 12-5!  Whew!  

The weather was absolutely gorgeous today.  I did a walk outside during the Girl Scout meeting and it wasn't too hot.  Woo hoo!  

Tomorrow are more final exams.  Joshua, your last exam is tomorrow so you're done with school after 12pm.  Good luck to everyone!  I know you all will do great!

Triangle Triathlon

 Dearest Joshua David, Grace Elizabeth, Faith Olivia, Jacob Samuel, and Jeremiah William-

Happy Saturday!

This morning was the Triangle Triathlon so I was awake by 4am.  Grandpa Jim went too even though he didn't participate (he recently had surgery).  The distance totals were:

Swim - 750m

Bike - 25K

Run - 5K

I missed my mark of 2 hours by 1.5 minutes since I was exhausted by the run.  But still not too bad.  And the weather was gorgeous!

By the time I got home, you all were helping with Joshua's Eagle Project outside.  Several scouts came over to help as well.  Lots of headway was made building 3 benches for the church.  

This afternoon I took the twins to a pool birthday party for their Scout friend Ronan.  The older 3 stayed out with me and we did some thrift store shopping.

Swim Buddy

Happy FriYAY!  

Today Joshua had his English EOC and the twins had their Reading EOG.  Everyone thought they did well .... I'm sure you all did!  I'm very proud of everyone.   

I have the Triangle Triathlon tomorrow so I got my bike, Clover🍀, ready and packed my stuff up.   Grace did a swim with me at 6:15am!  My little swim buddy!

Garmin Watch

 Dearest Precious Angels-

Happy Thursday!  Today was a work and school day for everyone .... except Grace.  You didn't have any classes you needed to attend since your exams start next week so you stayed home and studied.  

Joshua, your English EOC (End of Course) examination is tomorrow.  Jacob and Jeremiah, your Reading EOG (End of Grade) is tomorrow.  I know you all will do well!  I'm proud of you all!  

Grace, we got you a Garmin watch for your graduating middle school present .... you just now decided what you wanted. Haha!  It came today.  You and I went to the pool when I got home to test the watch and for me to do to a practice swim before the Triangle Triathlon Saturday morning.  We got you the Lily 2 Active with a purple band.  :-)
