Photos Week 26!

Snow, Sleet, And Ice

 Dearest Precious Angels-

Happy Sunday!  

We got a small amount of snow, and a lot of sleet and ice!  So, not much to play in, but a lot of slippery wintery mix.  More sleet came down this evening too that will freeze overnight.  

Church was a prerecorded video so we watched it as a family.  My office is closed tomorrow and all taekwondo classes are cancelled for tomorrow.  Tomorrow was also a teacher workday, so no school either way.  

Jeremiah and Grace had more crochet lessons today.  I'm very proud of you Jeremiah .... you've gotten several rows done on a blanket.  I did 12 rows on my blanket and have a little over 11 inches complete.  Woo hoo!

Work And Weather Preparations

 Dearest Miracles-

Happy Saturday!  I had work this morning but we ended early because of the upcoming potential ice storm.  Gigi was my first patient.  :-)

We prepared the house this afternoon in case we lose power through the night.  The once is supposed to come down late Saturday night and through Sunday .... so we'll see how it goes!

Oh, Jeremiah, you crocheted a half of a row of a blanket for Grace!  It was cute watching her teach you!  Grace has started me on a new blanket since I finished my first one.   :-)

2025 Movie Uploaded

 Dearest Miracles- 

On January 1st 2014, I created a New Year's Resolution to take at least one group photograph of my three children each week.  At the end of the year, I would put those photographs together in a video to enjoy for years to come.  Surprisingly, we got pregnant with spontaneous twins that year!  So, we got to capture some of that emotion and excitement in the photographs! 

Fast forward .... I've now completed our 12th straight year of taking weekly group photographs of all five children and capturing those images in a yearly Photography Project.  Like years prior, I added videos of the children through the year as well .... so our annual Photography Project movie has gotten longer and longer!   But, we will continue to enjoy these movies for years to come. 

For anyone interested, this was our 2025 .... we are so blessed! 

God is good!

Today I finished my movie and uploaded it online.  :-)  I also picked up more yarn from two more ladies donating to Grace's project.  I finished my blanket so we have 5 blankets completed for January so far .... Grace did 3, Talia did one, and I did one.

Eye MD And Tooth #L

 Dearest Precious Angels- 

Jacob, you lost Tooth #L today!  We can already see Tooth #21 erupting!

Joshua and Grace, you all had Bible Club after school.  Faith, you had Drama Club after school.  

Jacob and Jeremiah, you all had your eye MD appointment.  Jeremiah, you vision stayed pretty stable.  Jacob, your vision got worse.  We ordered new glasses for both of you.  

Grace and I are almost done with our blankets.  We should be done tomorrow.  Grace, you already crocheted 2 others.  And, Talia in our 321G Troop made one .... so we're on schedule to make our 5/month blanket quota (one of yours you did in December but we're still counting it - haha).  :-)

Yarn Donations

 Dearest Precious Angels-

Happy Wednesday!  This morning after carpool I drove around Wake County and collected yarn from 7 generous women who donated for Grace's Eagle Project.   Some even donated hooks!  I'll meet up with two more on Friday.   I brought home a lot of yarn!  God is good!  

This evening I took everyone to taekwondo class.  We worked on some punching, kicking, self defense, and forms.

Drama Club

 Dearest Precious Angels-

Happy Tuesday!  

I'm getting better at my crocheting!  I got half my quota done while in the morning ACES carpool lane.  Then I finished this evening and didn't even need to mark my stitches to keep on track!  Grace, you were so proud of me!  :-)

Faith, you had Drama Club after school so I picked you up after work.  This evening we watched some television together as a family before bedtime.
