Sewing And Crocheting

 Dearest Precious Angels-

Happy Thursday!  Today was a work and school day for everyone.  We had a little party at work during lunch since there are 4 April birthdays in the office.  :-)

Faith, you had Drama Club until 7pm this evening.  I picked you up.  Grace and I did some sewing and crocheting this evening.  I switched out my OA pocket flap on my shirt.

Treadmill Work

 Dearest Precious Angels-

Happy Wednesday!  I took everyone to taekwondo class this evening.  Except Joshua .... you stayed home and went on the treadmill to help prepare for the Philmont hike this weekend.  You wore my 16 lb weighted vest and walked 3 miles with a slight incline.  We'll have you do it again tomorrow to help prepare some more.  I went to the store and got you 4 L of extra water to share with the Troop for cooking on the trail.  

Grace and I did some crocheting this evening.  I'm about half way through another blanket but the yarn is smaller so it's taking me a lot longer.

Philmont Opportunity

 Dearest Precious Gifts- 

Happy Tuesday!  Today was a work and school day for everyone.   Jacob and Jeremiah, you had Mileage Club this morning and I did a 2 mile run on the Greenway during that time. 

I got home around 6pm.  This evening we got a call from the Troop that someone backed out of the upcoming Philmont trip this June.  They were offering a spot to Joshua.  Joshua, you're going to backpack hike with the crew this weekend to see if you like it.  You'll only have about 2 months to train so it'll be a lot of work .... but you're willing to put in the effort since Philmont is a 'one-in-a-lifetime' opportunity.  :-)

Tired

 Dearest Precious Angels-

Happy Monday!  Today was a work and school day for everyone.  Joshua, Grace, Faith and I were tired all day!  I think the big camping weekend drained us.  Whamp wha!  We took a break from taekwondo this evening .... Grace even took a nap!  Haha!  

Faith, you had Drama Club after school.  The Matilda play is next week!  We have tickets for the Thursday performance.   :-)

Wood Badge Beading

 Dearest Miracles-

What a Scout filled weekend!  ⛺  

Joshua, Grace, Faith, and I had fun representing Occoneechee Lodge #104 for the Section E8, Order of the Arrow Conclave event at Camp Durant this weekend!  We camped, played games, and met new people.  🥰

This afternoon Troop 321G had our Court of Honor and Faith was awarded Star Rank!  Grace, you got the Hometown USA Award and the World Conservation Award.  You both got merit badges.  Jacob and Jeremiah were given their Scout Rank patches at their meeting.  And I had my Wood Badge beading ceremony .... All Hail the Quail .... The Raptors of the Underbrush Patrol!  🐦🤗  I brought Betty (bob)White!

God is good!  😀

Dearest Precious Angels-

Happy Saturday!  

Jacob and Jeremiah, you all went to taekwondo weapons class today and then played this afternoon.  

I was at Camp Durant with the older three for the Section E8 Cardinal Conclave event .... all 6 lodges in E8 were there, but our lodge, Occoneechee, was hosting it.  

Today we had OAX (vendors), the Quest for the Arrow (competition between lodges), and section elections.  It was hot, but we had fun.  We also had an evening show and then Carnival in the field with games like cornhole.  We went to bed after 11pm .... and we have to be up by 6am each day so we were tired!
