Labor Day

Dearest Joshua David, Grace Elizabeth, Faith Olivia, Jacob Samuel, and Jeremiah William~ 

Happy Labor Day from these 5 hard workers .... who hardly work.  🥰🤣

God is good!  😀

We met up with Grandpa Jim, Gigi, and Uncle James this morning for bowling.  Jacob and Jeremiah were team captains and the teams were:

Our team won all the games .... and I scored a 129 in the first game (the high of the day)!  Grace was second with a 126 during the second game.  We all played with the bumpers up - haha!  

We had a fun lunch at Shane's Rib Shack afterwards.  

This afternoon we watched the first Spiderman movie (the Tom Holland one).  There's a new movie out, so we're trying to rewatch them since we forgot everything from the prior ones.   Haha!

Back To School Sunday

Happy Sunday!

Daddy was in the Praise Team this morning for both services.  I was the lone photographer.  Pastor Andy shared a photo montage video on social media of this morning .... and guess who took all the photos?  This girl!  😉  

It was Back to School Sunday at church this morning where we got to pray over our students and adult educators. 🎒✏️  You all stood up for the student section for us pray over you all.  

This is always an encouraging Sunday where we get to lift up students and teachers and remind us all who we place our trust in year round .... Jesus!  🙏🏻🥰

God is good!  😀

Grandpa Jim was at church with us.  

This afternoon we got stuff done around the house and played.  Grace, your eye is slowly looking better.  We keep putting the warm compress on it and the antibiotic cream.

Urgent Care And Lost Power

Happy Saturday!

Daddy took everyone to taekwondo except Grace.  Grace, I took you to Urgent Care to look at your eye lid.  The left one is still puffy and red.  They told us to continue with the warm compress and they prescribed an antibiotic cream.  I pray it helps!

This afternoon we went to the pool for about 45 minutes .... then it started storming.  We eventually lost power for about 4 hours.  Once power came back on we watched one episode of Monk before bedtime.

Vacation

 Dearest Precious Angels-

Happy FriYAY!   We're officially on vacation for Labor Day!  

Grace, I picked you up early since your eye was hurting.  Your left upper eyelid is red.  I called two eye offices but couldn't get you in.  You didn't want to go to Urgent Care.  So we've been flushing the eye with water and putting a warm compress on.  Hopefully it will start to get better soon.  

This evening we watched some television together as a family before bedtime.

Zoom Meeting

Happy Thursday!

Today was a school and work day for everyone.  The AC went out at Millbrook High so you all had to be shuffled around for classes.  Thankfully air came back on in areas later since we had heat advisories throughout the day.  

Joshua and Grace, you all had Bible Club after school.  You all will be reading Phillippians.  

This evening Joshua, Grace, and I had an OA zoom meeting to discuss last weekend's Section Induction Experience.  It didn't end until after 9pm.

Black Stripe

 Dearest Precious Angels-

Happy Wednesday!  Today was another school day for everyone.  

Grace, you and I are starting to feel better.  We're both still coughing and sneezing, but not like before.   Your eyes still hurt so we've been putting a warm compress on them.  I felt well enough to get a swim done this morning!  Woo hoo!

I spent the majority of today working on my Wilderness First Aid class.  I have 33 chapters to get through before the hands on portion on October 3rd.  

This evening I took Grace and Jeremiah to taekwondo class.  We got a form stripe for knowing Taegeuk il jang.  Woo hoo!
