Congested

Dearest Precious Angels-

Happy Monday!

So Grace and I were congested all day.  It started during the campout over the weekend.  I hope we feel better soon.  I didn't take anyone to taekwondo since I didn't feel well.  Grace ended up going to bed early.  You also have another stye on your left eyelid.  You seem prone to get those.  When you were a baby you had a blocked tear duct and Dr Board had to open it at Rex Hospital when you were a year old.  Maybe you're just susceptible to styes?  We'll need to ask the eye doctor.

Early Bedtime

Happy Sunday!

Grace, Joshua, and I got home around 1pm.  The new Induction Experience for OA was interesting.  I missed the names of the 4 Principles .... and there's a lot of self reflection and bonding .... which is hard for an introvert.  We'll see how the rest of the lodge feels about it. 

This afternoon we had our Troop 321 meetings.  Then we came home for dinner.  Grace and I went to bed early!

Section Induction Experience

 Dearest Precious Gifts-

Happy FriYAY and Saturday!  

Grace, Joshua, and I left for Camp Cherokee Friday afternoon.  We're participating in the Section 8 Induction Experience for the OA.  They're changing the Pre Ordeal and Ordeal ceremonies and process.  Faith will likely be the last 'class' of inductees that will witness the original Pre Ordeal, Ordeal, and Brotherhood Ceremonies.  

The new experience was interesting .... and hard to take a non biased view point.  I liked the old experience better.  

Faith, the new sewing machine came today so you got to test it out.  Jacob and Jeremiah, you all went to Ronin's house for a sleepover Saturday evening.

Weekly Photograph

Happy Thursday!  Today was a school and work day for everyone.  Joshua, you had an AG meeting after school and got to learn about the different AG and FFA clubs.  

This afternoon I took my weekly photograph of you all.  Then did some packing for the campout this weekend.  Joshua, Grace, and I are going.  We'll be back Sunday by lunch time.

Taekwondo And Packing

Happy Wednesday!

Everyone had a good day at school today.  Joshua, you had a headache when you got home, so I took everyone else to taekwondo practice.  You felt better once we got home.  We ate dinner and then you worked on homework.  Daddy had Praise Team practice.   

Joshua, Grace, and I head to Camp Cherokee this Friday for an OA campout.  We're participating in the Section Induction Experience since National is changing the way we do the Pre Ordeal and Ordeal ceremonies.  Grace and I did some packing this evening.

 Dearest Precious Angels-

Happy Tuesday!

Today was a work and school day for everyone.  It was a B Day, so you all got to meet more new teachers and hear about classroom policies.  Tomorrow will go back to an A Day.  

I got home around 6pm.  After dinner several of you all took showers.  Grace, you helped me create calendars to use at the next Scout meeting.  Then we relaxed before bedtime.
