Grace, I don't know why, but you were a pill this morning. You woke up grumpy and whined all through breakfast. Then, Joshua, you had a hissy fit because you always want to be first and everything's a contest with you. When I had you go to the back of the line to get ready you blew up. Sheesh. What's up with you all this morning.
Once everyone cooked down, you all played as I wen on the exercise bike. Then, we headed to Harris Teeter for some small groceries. We weren't gone long. We were home by 11am and I started a bunch of cooking as we listened to music and you all played.
I baked a quiche for tomorrow night since it'll be a work/school day. Now dinner is already made. ;-) I also baked some potatoes at the same time and cooked steaks as you all ate lunch. The steaks and potatoes will be for tonight. :-)
Everyone cleaned their plates for lunch so we had a little bit of playtime before we settled down for rest time. The girls went down pretty early. Joshua fought it and never ended up napping. I rested and read.
Once everyone was awake you three had a snack as I checked the mail .... I got my prize in the mail! I participated in an online mandolin conference that featured Mike Marshall. I asked about 6 questions during the session and one was picked to be asked during the conference! I won a free mandolin ball cap and two case stickers! And, they came today! Woo hoo! I was so excited when I opened the mail! I picked some tenor guitar with my hat on as you all played after snacks. ;-)
Then, we came upstairs and watched Disney's Tarzan .... I was trying to calm you down .... at least Joshua since he was so wild!
Daddy was home for dinner so we all got to eat together. Then he mowed the lawn quickly as I got you three ready for bed. Joshua, you were still wild .... I have no idea where you got this energy from. :-P
