More Carseats

Dearest Angels~

Well, the girls helped me drop Joshua off at school this morning.  Then, we ran a quick errand to meet a woman named Mary.  She's a mother of twin girls just shy of a year old.  Her girls have outgrown their infant carseats, so we took a look at them for Coconut and Cookie Dough.  They appear in great condition with blank warranty cards, owners manuals, wedges for preemie babies, and both bases.  Also, they're black/grey so pretty neutral.  Her husband did all the research on car seats and knew that Britax was rated the best and made in the USA.  I told her that we did the same research when our kids outgrew their seats and all three of our toddlers were in Britax as well.  Mary was excited and impressed that these boys were #4 and #5.  ;-)  Anyway, we went ahead and purchased her seats so Coconut and Cookie Dough now have seats to use (the one we used for you all is now expired).

We did not make it to Harris Teeter right after .... as soon as I pulled into the parking lot to meet Mary, Faith threw up!  Yuck!  She was playful this morning and ate some cheerios, but Uncle James mentioned that she (surprisingly) didn't eat a lot yesterday .... maybe you have a little 24 hour bug?  She had some crackers when we got home and then you all watched Mickey as I ran the laundry.  I took out her carseat, stripped it as best as I could, and put everything in the wash with her clothes and parts of the new carseats too.  I gave Faith a little 'bird bath' and knew you would have a full bath tonight.

As you all watched Mickey Mouse, I went on the exercise bike.  Then, we all had lunch.  Faith ate well despite her earlier throw up.  As you all had rest/nap time, I put the carseats back together and read.  :-)

Joshua, you had a great day at school.  It started to thunderstorm and rain before we left, so you all were playing inside when we came to pick you up.  Afterward, we walked down the hallway so you all would know where all the classrooms are for next week.  You three all start school there on tuesday .... and you all are right down the hallway from each other.

Once we left, we made a very quick trip to Harris Teeter for some milk and bread.  Then, we came home for dinner.  When daddy got home, we showed him the carseats for Coconut and Cookie Dough.  :-)  You all three had a bath before bedtime.

Oh Faith, you're beginning to talk a little more .... your new favorite word is 'ball' .... how cute!  ;-)

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you all so much!

~Mommy
