Canceled Lunch

Dearest Joshua David, Grace Elizabeth, and Faith Olivia~

Joshua, you woke up throwing up this morning.  Poor thing.  It was mostly liquids and looked like a lot of phlegm.  I sent an email to cancel plans for lunch since we were supposed to go to a birthday party.  Today was your classmate, Owen’s, party.  Daddy and I felt bad canceling, but you were just so sick.  We don’t know if it was something that you ate yesterday at the restaurant. 

By 9am Joshua was sitting at table eating some Cheerios.  By 10:30am, you had thrown up two more time little man.  Ugh.   

Everyone took it easy until lunch time.  Then, Joshua ate some crackers and perked up. 

After lunch, we made a trip to Target for groceries.  Today was cold and rainy!  Thankfully, the rain stopped when we were leaving and loading everything (and everyone) into the van!

Once home everyone had rest time.  Faith and Grace were napping by 2:45pm.  Joshua was resting.  Daddy read and I did 75 minutes on the exercise bike.  Once everyone was awake, we made dinner and played downstairs.  This evening we watched the UNC basketball game … we won!  Woo hoo!  ;-)

Faith, you were awake pretty late.  You finally started to get sleepy around 10pm.  Joshua, I’m glad you were feeling better as the day went on.
