Festival Of Lights

Dearest Miracles~

Everyone was feeling a lot better this morning and we made it to church.  Joshua went to church school.  Grace and Faith sat with daddy and me in big church.  The whole building was decorated for Christmas!  It was so gorgeous!  ;-)

Towards the end of the service, we decided to try the girls in church school, but to put Grace in where Faith would be (previously Grace was scared to go to her own classroom).  They both did well and played.  We might try that again the next time so that Grace can start going to church school more often.  Joshua has a blast when he goes.  You learned more about the Christmas story and the birth of Jesus.  You had colored a picture with the shepherds today.  ;-)

We were home for lunch and we did some quick chores after eating.  You all helped us clean the kitchen.  Then, we swept and vacuumed the downstairs.

For art time, we painted parts of a wooden race car that I got from one of my coworkers.  We will let it dry and then put it together later.

Grace and Faith took naps afterward.  Joshua never napped, but he rested on the couch as daddy read.  I took a shower and did some things on the computer.

By 4pm, Gigi, Grandpa Jim, and Uncle James came over.  We continued our birthday celebrations.  ;-)  Faith and I opened gifts and then we all headed to Hill Ridge Farm for some fun!  We ate dinner there and walked all around to see the lights.  We rode the train … two loops … which was decorated with lights.  And, we rode the hayride through the Festival of Lights!  ;-)  What fun!  It got pretty cold, but everyone did well.  Santa was there, but you all were so cold that you all just waved it him … I think you all were also a little apprehensive of him too.  ;-)

We left around 7:45pm.  Joshua, you wet yourself on the drive home.  Everyone told you to use the potty at the farm but you refused.  :-P  Daddy stripped your new car seat, which was soaked, and put in the wash.  I put everyone to bed.  We didn’t have stories since Joshua wet himself.  You all need to learn to listen when we tell you to do something … like sit on the potty.

I’m glad everyone had fun at the Festival of Lights … it was pretty and nice to see all the Christmas decorations!  Daddy and I know you all are getting excited about Christmas!  ;-)

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you all so much!
