Dearest Miracles-Joshua, Grace, and I woke up with frost on the ground! I've never been so cold on a campout .... it took until mid morning to even feel my toes again! Brrr! I'm just thankful you two, and the other Scouts, did well through the night. I'm so proud of you all for being so strong with such cold temperatures.
Ms Katie and I got a 2 mile hike done bringing our total to 9.25 miles. Whew!
We also got to sit in on the camping merit badge class .... which Grace and Grace Glynn were both taking. :-) I learned a lot and the instructor was very engaging.
After dinner we all packed up camp and headed back to Raleigh. Joshua, Grace, and I got back home around 9pm.
I'm so thankful I get to have experiences like this with you all! :-)
