Campout And Dog Scratch

 Dearest Precious Gifts-

Today was an interesting day.  You all had school and then Joshua and I went to the Boy Scout Troop campout. 

As soon as Joshua and I got the tent up, we got a text from daddy .... the neighbor's dog had jumped onto Grace and scratched her left cheek!  She was bleeding a lot and we weren't sure if she needed stitches.  The neighbor nurse came over to take a look and it appeared to be healing.  I called Gigi to come over and take a look. Apparently Grandpa Jim ran over their mailbox and put a dent in the Jeep to get there so quick!  Oh my!  They kept bandaging the wound and cleaning it.

In the meantime, Joshua and I got stuck in a lightning and thunder storm at the campout!  When it rains it pours!  Literally!  We had to get evacuated to the van several times!  We finally made it back to the tent by 10pm. 

What a day!  I pray Grace heals quickly and has minimal scarring!
