Walk On The Ice

Dearest Gifts-

Church services were cancelled due to the weather so everyone got to sleep in a little this morning. ;-)

After everyone was fed and ready for the day, I walked up to Food Lion with the wagon to brings us back some milk and other groceries. We still have ice on the driveway, so we didn't want to chance it with the cars. Joshua, Grace, and Faith wanted to come with me .... which ended up being more work than anything else. The Food Lion is a mile away .... and we had to dodge (not always successfully) the ice patches. People fell .... people cried .... people got tired .... and over 2 hours later we were back home with a little wagon of milk and food. :-P I'm ashamed to say that I cursed too many times during that 'walk'. We saw cars spinning out in the parking lot and the girls visibly got scared. It was a bad morning. :-(

But, everyone is safe and I guess it makes for a good story. :-P Daddy tried to clean off some of the driveway after lunch. Things will refreeze this evening so school is cancelled again for tomorrow. I have a physical therapy appointment however.

We watched UNC basketball this afternoon. We won! Go Heels!
