Grace's Story

Dearest Blessings~

Today was a Gigi day for you three.  I loaded you all up early and headed over there so I could still be at work by 7:30am.  :-)

I had a fun day at work, but was tired when done.  I did a lot of standing so my feet were really tired!

Everyone got kisses when I got to Gigi's house.  You all had a fun day with Gigi, Grandpa Jim, and Uncle James.  You all went for a walk and had art time.  For art time you all made paper cut outs of umbrellas, rain, and flowers for 'April showers bring May flowers' .... cute!

Grace, you apparently told Uncle James a story today and he wrote it all down verbatim.  This was your story:

First you have to sing it.
It's called a song.
The words are like ABCDEFGA, but it has weird words that go like this:

[Singing:]

"Little, little, little ones.
You are free like you and me.
You are going to trip up and say.
You are the torches.
You hold the wrenches.
I'll be a mermaid and a princess.
I'm going to see thousands.
I didn't know.
That's the end."

ABCDEFG are in the story.
Maybe I'll sing it for you.
It's called this.

[Singing:]

"ABCDE ... next time won't you sing with me."

And the one after that is:

[Singing:]

"Little topple, little one.
I'm going to be a little one.
I'm going to be a princess.
The cheese is chipped away.
Apple apple apple app!
Apple apple apple app!
Are you an apple?
Do the apple dance."

The Mermaid did have a cookie, when I singed it. Yeah, there's a story.

[singing:]

"Chippa chippa chocolate chip.
Put your mouth into your tongue.
Bisha bisha hetta hetta.
That's the power of the toy."

The story's all done.

That's pretty good for a 3 year old!  Way to go little lady!  Joshua you did well for Quinn today. You continued to work on letter blends and got new homework.

We got back home around 7pm. Daddy was here but sick so he went to bed.  We played in the bonus room for a little bit before bedtime.   Joshua and Faith got more medicine before bedtime.  I hope everyone feels better soon!

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you all so much!

~Mommy
