Joshua, you slept in this morning .... but you were coughing through the night so I didn't mind letting you sleep in. Daddy headed out early this morning since he was going to a wedding this weekend in pennsylvania .... so I took today off from work .... I'm on vacation! Woo hoo! Also, it's just us until Sunday when daddy gets back .... but I have a feeling we'll see people over the weekend and have some fun. ;-)
Once you all ate breakfast, we played some Candyland and then got ready for the day. The weather was gorgeous so I decided to take you all to Pullen Park for fun! We picked up Uncle James on the way and spent about an hour there. We walked all around the lake and the playgrounds. Then, we all rode the train! It was getting crowded and hot as we were leaving, so we decided to pick up some Chick Fil A for lunch and eat at Gigi's house. You all ate really well! You all rested a little after upstairs and played some Mario Brothers.
Then, I took you three to the Dollar Tree .... you all picked out some toys for the weekend! We got baseball bats, balls, and planes to use in the yard! We got home around 3:30pm and Joshua got his second dose of medicine. Faith fell asleep in the van and continued to nap once home. I took Joshua and Grace into the playroom and we watched some television as Faith napped. I also went on the exercise bike. ;-)
Once everyone was awake we went downstairs for dinner .... toast, cheese, pepperoni, eggs, and bacon. ;-)
By 7:30pm, everyone was in pajamas, teeth brushed, and we had the air beds set up in the playroom for our camp out! Fun! Joshua also got more medicine for his cough. Then we watched some of the Muppets until bedtime. I had fun camping out with you all .... since I was by myself I wanted to stay with all 3 of you all, so staying in the playroom was fun. ;-) Faith, you are quite the snuggle bug. We put the night lights on that show stars on the ceiling.
