Brrr .... what a cold day! Rumor has it that we might get some snow either tonight or tomorrow. I wonder that will mean for work and school tomorrow.
After we ran some laundry this morning, we all went to Harris Teeter for some things. We needed milk and some things for Joshua's party for school on friday .... you all are having a Valentine's party and we need to bring whip cream. Once we got home, you all helped me prepare and start the crock pot .... we're making potato soup .... just perfect for a cold day like today! ;-)
Everyone cleaned their plates for lunch! Woo hoo! After, we came upstairs but didn't find Olympics on the television. So, we watched a special Mickey Mouse episode that was on before we had to leave to see Gloria for speech.
It was very cold out, so we all had to bundle up! You did well with Gloria, little man. You worked on 'l' sounds. The girls and I played in the waiting area. We had Quinn come earlier because of the weather, so she was at our house 15 minutes after we got home. You worked on 's' and 'l' sounds. Faith fell asleep during the appointment, so I had Joshua and Grace have rest time on couches downstairs after as I read. Grace eventually fell asleep, but Joshua never napped .... only rested.
We played once everyone was awake. I put the Olympics on and picked some guitar as Grace did my hair. ;-) Everyone ate well for dinner and our crock pot potato soup was great!
