Power Outages

Dearest Gifts~

Faith, you were awake early this morning from 2am to 3am … crying and crying.  I put more medicine on your diaper rash and gave you just shy of a container of food.  Daddy and I were exhausted getting ready this morning.  I’m covering the clinic this week, so I’m working today and Thursday.  :-P 

Joshua, you’re on vacation this week since school is out.  When we asked you the other day ‘How does it feel to be on vacation?’ you responded with ‘What’s a vacation?’ … haha!  ;-)

You three all had a Penny day today.  Faith, you still have a red rash on your bottom so she applied medicine with each diaper as well.  

I had an interesting day at work.  The power went off at 8am.  We didn’t get power until 9:30am but the computers remained offline.  Encase you all don’t know, you can’t operate with no power in dentistry.  :-P  We had no suction, no lights, couldn’t run instruments, couldn’t move the chairs, and couldn’t take or process radiographs.  Oh no!  Without the computers, we couldn’t access the patients’ charts!  So, we did clinical/visual exams until lunch time.  :-P  Later in afternoon, the power went out again briefly.  I don't know if it was weather related … it was really nasty out today with heavy rainfall and winds.  :-P

Everyone got kisses when we got home.  We got brownies from neighbors across the street for the holidays … that was so nice!  ;-)

We all played this evening.  Daddy picked some banjo and I picked some mandolin.  Faith still had a rash this evening … I hope it clears soon!
