Dearest Angels~
Merry Christmas Eve!!
Tomorrow is Christmas Day!
Are you all excited?
;-) You all sure act
excited about it! Ha!
Daddy went to work this morning. You all helped me cook cookies all morning! We made 40
chocolate chip, 62 snickerdoodles, and 40 sugar cookies for 142 total!
Wow! The NICU nurses will really appreciate all that baking! Of course, we’ll save a few for us and
for Santa tonight. Haha! ;-) We were done by 10:30am and then went upstairs to play.
Everyone ate well at lunch. So, we taste tested a cookie. ;-)
Daddy was home by 1pm.
He got to work just a half day for the holiday. ;-) Joshua and Grace then had rest time. I did 90 minutes on exercise bike as
Faith played.
We all relaxed together afterward and then Grace fell asleep
on daddy right when we were suppose to leave for dinner. We could tell you weren’t feeling well
sweetie. Your nose was runny and
you were sneezy. Poor thing.
We ate dinner at Grandpa Mike and Mimi’s house. Aunt Katie, Uncle Brenna, and baby
Felix were there. I got to hold
Felix again …. he’s so cute!
;-) We opened our Christmas
gifts and gave everyone our gifts.
After leaving, we drove through the neighborhood to see the Christmas
lights. There are some really
pretty houses down the street and one flickered to songs on a radio station!
We got back pretty late. So, we decided to push baths off until tomorrow. You all helped us clean the downstairs
and put cookies out for Santa. Grace was warm and lethargic. Poor thing. I hope you’re better in the morning!
We finished our Advent Calendar with the story of Jesus!
I’m so glad you all remembered pieces! Daddy and I are so proud of
you all! Joshua, you are so cute
…. you keep saying that ‘Christmas isn’t a time for getting; it’s a time for
giving!’ That warms my heart
whenever I hear you say that!
Sleep tight little ones!
I love you all so much!
~Mommy
