Hotdog And Chocolate

Dearest Precious Children~

We all slept in until 7:40am this morning!  Of course, Grace and Faith had curled into our bed at some point in the night.  ;-)

Since we slept in we didn't make it to church.  We played instead.  I picked some mandolin and everyone relaxed.

Everyone ate their lunch and then you all helped daddy and I prepare dinner for later.  We marinated some chicken in BBQ sauce.  Then, we cut up onion, butternut squash, and added corn to bake.  Yummy!  Faith, you tried some hotdog pieces at lunch and liked it!  You also had a container of yogurt and then some apple pieces!

Joshua and Grace had rest time after lunch until we had to pack up and head downtown for a birthday party for one of Joshua’s classmates.  There are several December birthday’s in your class …. even one of your teachers!

The birthday party was at Marbles Museum … an interactive kids museum with lots of different areas to engage your senses.  There were sports activities, an aquatic area, cars, farm, an area to build things, blocks, and so much more in the two story building!  We were there for 2.5 hours exploring!  Your classmate, Matthew, turned 4.  We met a few more people in your class and their parents.  We had ice cream and cake.  Everyone had a blast … but the lack of nap started to take a toll around 4:30pm.  :-P

We got back home after 5pm and cooked our dinner.  After dinner, Faith tried a chocolate chip and, of course, liked it!  Today was your first time trying hotdog and chocolate!  Ha!   ;-)

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you all so much!

~Mommy
