Birthday Extravaganza

Dearest Gifts~

Speaking of gifts …. today is my birthday!  Woo hoo!  I’ve successfully taught Joshua to say ‘Mommy is 29 … again!’  Ha! 

Faith, you gave me a nice gift this morning … you slept in until 5am for your first nursing session!  Yippie!  ;-)

I asked you all this morning what today is, and Joshua immediately said 'It's mommy's birthday!' … so cute!  ;-)  Since today is such a special day, I let Grace wear a necklace for the first time … you woke one of my angels!  You were so excited and happy!  ;-)

Daddy took today off and dropped Joshua off at school.  I took the girls to the Honda dealership for an oil change and tire check for the van.  There’s a nail in a tire that is causing a slow leak too.  So, that needed to be fixed.  Grace, you liked hanging out there since they had popcorn.  Faith, you kept climbing up a little slide. 

I got back home with the girls around 11am and had lunch together with daddy.  Then we picked up Joshua from school early for some birthday fun!  We went to Harris Teeter and got the prettiest cookie cake we could find with pink flowers!  Ha!  We also got a mini cupcake for Faith!  

We got home around 1:30pm and had a little party!  We ate cookie cake together … even Faith had some and ate a lot!  You all sang 'happy birthday' to me.  I opened my gifts from you all … some CD’s and a book!  Thank you so much!  You all are my gifts too!    

We watched some Christmas shows upstairs afterward.  I also did 60 minutes on the exercise bike. 

Faith, you run now … and you're fast!  You also have the cutest giggles, especially when I tickle your arm pits!  ;-)  How adorable!

You all took me out for a dinner for more birthday fun!  We ate some BBQ.  Grace had fallen asleep right before so she was a little grumpy at one point, but everything worked out.  :-)   We drove through the neighborhood to see the lights after dinner.  You all ended up having a late bed time.  :-P

Today was cold and wet, but you all warmed it up with your love!   I had a wonderful birthday with you all and I couldn't ask for anything more!  I love you all so dearly.  Thank you for such a beautiful birthday!
