Head Colds

Dearest Gifts~

Little Faith, you cried and cried all night last night.  Daddy and I gave you medicine, but I don't know if that actually helped.  You were coughing, sneezing, and had a runny nose.  Poor thing.  You are so miserable when you’re sick.  :-P  You woke multiple times to nurse and I put you back to sleep.  Grace, you noodled into our bed around 5am.

Since it was chilly out today, and people weren't feeling well, we didn't go to the parade downtown this morning.  They were having the annual Raleigh Christmas parade, but we thought it best to keep you all inside to rest more …. especially Faith.  Instead, we relaxed inside and put up our Christmas trees.  ;-)

Grace and Joshua helped daddy rake some leaves by mid morning.  I did 45 minutes on the exercise bike while Faith played inside. 

Everyone ate their lunch.  Yippie!  Then we had rest time on the couches.  My head was foggy and I had a sore throat, so I ended up napping some too with Grace.  Joshua never napped.  :-P  Daddy watched the UNC basketball game and we won!  Woo hoo!

Afterward, we had snack time and then watched Cinderella.  I picked some mandolin.  Joshua, you were extremely hyper this evening as we were cooking dinner.  Oh my! 

After dinner, we got a phone call … Aunt Katie’s water broke!  We said a prayer for them at bed time.  We pray everything goes well for Aunt Katie, Uncle Brennan, and baby cousin throughout the night.

Faith, you love to climb and climb … you get everywhere!  And, you’re starting to get pretty fast!  We gave you some medicine before bedtime.  I hope you fell better soon!
