First Day Of School

 Dearest Joshua David, Grace Elizabeth, Faith Olivia, Jacob Samuel, and Jeremiah William-

Several nervous kiddos (and one nervous Mama) in the carpool lanes this morning as we embark on this new school year.  But we all took a deep breath as we said a prayer for all our student and teacher friends out there.  🙂

Putt Putt

 Dearest Precious Angels-

Happy Sunday!  

Grace and Faith, we had a Troop 321G outing today at the ParTee Shack for putt putt.  We invited two girls who are interested in joining the Troop.  Then we had some frozen yogurt and came home.  Boys, you all didn't have a Troop meeting. 

Tomorrow is the first day of school so we got some Panda Garden as a fun dinner to celebrate the last day of summer vacation.   

I pray everything goes well tomorrow for everyone!  I can't believe I have three middle schoolers and two high schoolers!

School Supplies

 Dearest Precious Angels-

Happy Saturday!  

I took you all to taekwondo weapons class this morning.  Daddy came too since we stayed out afterwards and got school supplies.  Then we had a fun lunch at Shane's Rib Shack.   :-)

This afternoon you all organized your school supplies and we cleaned parts of the house.   

Monday is the first day of the 2026-2027 school year!

Movie Night

Dearest Miracles-

Happy FriYAY!  

Grace, your eye sty is looking better.  You've been putting a warm compress on it.  

We had a rainy afternoon, but it was only cloudy in the morning so I was able to get my swim done.  :-)

Grace, you helped me lay out my patches on my blanket to make a game plan on where to sew things.  I hired you to help me sew the patches.  :-)

This evening we watched the movie Project Hail Mary .... Grace, daddy, and I had read the book.  The movie was good .... but the book was better.  :-)

Catapult Camp

Happy Thursday!

Today was. Catapult Camp for Jacob and Jeremiah .... this is the 6th grade orientation for West Millbrook.  Afterwards, I walked around with you two to meet your teachers.  Grace and Faith came too so they could say hello to the 6th grade teachers.  :-)  So many teachers were excited to see more Watsons!  

This afternoon was Faith's meet the teacher.  Grace came to see her prior 8th grade teachers.  And Faith has many of Grace's teachers!  Fun!  

Jacob and Jeremiah, you two have Mr Z for math .... so he will have taught all 5 of you all!  :-)

High School Meet The Teachers

 Dearest Precious Angels-

Happy Wednesday!  

I did a swim this morning.  Grace, you didn't go with me since your eye was feeling funny. By the end of the day it looked like a stye was forming on your right eye lid.  

Grace, Faith, and I went to the Missions Thrift store today to look for some school clothes.  Then we went to Hobby Lobby to get some fabrics for Faith.  You're going to try to sew a dress, shawl, and yoke for OA to do the Fancy Shawl Dancing.  

This evening was the Meet the Teacher walk through for Millbrook High School.  I walked with Grace for her schedule and daddy walked with Joshua for his schedule.  You both seem to have good teachers and classes.  I pray this will be a fun year for you all.  Tomorrow is the middle school walk through event.  :-)

Heat Advisories

 Dearest Precious Angels-

Happy Tuesday!  Today was a long workday .... it was mentally draining.  I got home around 6pm.  

You all did some organizing around the house and played.  We've been having a heat wave recently with heat advisories each day.  I hope we get a break in the weather soon!

Tomorrow is the Meet the Teacher Event for Millbrook High School.
