8 Minutes Off
Dearest Miracles-
We've been watching the Olympics everyday, so during my morning swim I got to thinking ....
How close would I come if swimming against US swimmer Katie Ledecky in the 1500m swim? 🤔
So, I decided to compare my fastest long distance swim pace to her most recent Olympic Gold win. 😉
I swam 2175 yds (1988.82 m) at a pace of 1:27/100 yards during my fastest Half Ironman race (IM North Carolina 70.3 - 2019). 🏊🏻♀️
So, for 1500m (1640.42 yds) the result would be:
Me: 23 mins 46.8 secs
Katie Ledecky: 15 mins 30.02 secs
At my fastest long distance swim pace .... I would still be 8 minutes slower than Katie Ledecky .... WOW! 😳🏊🏻♀️ She's amazing!! 🥰🏊🏻♀️
Go USA!! 🥰
God is good! 😀
This evening we skipped taekwondo class and went to the Pizza and Pool event at our subdivision pool.
Sleep tight little ones!
I love you all so much!
