Happy Independence Day!
We all had off and relaxed today. The girls and Jacob wanted to go to the pool so I took them by mid morning. We stayed about 2 hours and then came home for lunch with the family.
This afternoon we had free time and family time. Grace and I worked on our patch jackets more .... Grace has all her ranks on the back now. I sewed the Girl Scout troop numbers into one patch and then sewed them onto the pocket. It's a little crooked but I'm proud I even got it done! Haha!
The weather was hot today and tomorrow is going to be hotter. We grilled our hamburgers and hotdogs inside for dinner. Then we watched some television as a family before bedtime.
We saw and listened to neighbors shooting off fireworks this evening. Some went pretty late.
