First Black Stripe And Driving The Van

Happy Saturday!

Today was a fun day since no one had work, no one had school, and there were no campouts. :-) We went to Taekwondo practice this morning and did two classes .... weapons/self defense and our belt class.

For weapons/self defense .... we learned nunchuck skills. I was impressed how much you all had already learned from your two prior lessons. You all helped me this afternoon to learn the basics to catch up. For self defense, Joshua was my partner and learned how to sweep the leg.

For our belt class .... I earned my first black stripe on my belt! Woo hoo! This afternoon you all helped me with Basic Form #1. :-)

We ate lunch at Shane's after and then people got new school shoes at Target .... you all had holes in your shoes (except Joshua).

The weather was gorgeous today! We spent the afternoon outside playing. I let Grace and Faith practice driving the van up and down the driveway several times. Joshua and Grace have done it before and this was Faith's first time. :-)
