Lots Of Weather Issues

 Dearest Miracles-

So .... a lot of weather issues happened today.  We had a lot of heavy storms come through the area and thunder woke people by 5:30am.  The winds were howling.  When we opened our front door at 7am, it sounded like a train with the heavy wind and rain!  We were under severe flash flood warnings all morning but .... Wake County never delayed or cancelled school!  We were all shocked.  I drove you all in that weather from 7:30am to 9am hitting both carpool lanes.  :-P

Then by around 10:30am, we had our first snow fall of 2022!  It snowed for quite some time, but it didn't stick around for long.  By 3pm the sun was out to drive the afternoon carpool lanes.  I couldn't believe this weather!  And through all that .... Wake County never delayed, cancelled, or did an early release.   Wow!   So many parents and teachers complained today about Wake County staying open. 

There's threat of all this water from today freezing overnight and causing black ice tomorrow morning.  So, you all have a 2 hour delay for morrow morning.   :-P  Now daddy and I have to rearrange our work schedules in order to get you all to school on time.  Ugh.
