Grace's 6th 5K Race

 Dearest Joshua David, Grace Elizabeth, Faith Olivia, Jacob Samuel, and Jeremiah William-

This girl did it again!  🥰  Grace, you ran your sixth 5K this morning!   You ran this one with Grandpa Jim since I had to work .... fun Grandpa/Granddaughter memory!    I'm so proud of you!  ️

And, on a training note:  Grandpa Jim passed a milestone  .... 
Swim:    1,506 miles
Bike:   80,633  miles
Run:    17.970  miles
Total: 100,109 miles 

He passed 100 thousand miles and circled the planet 4 times since doing his first triathlon event 19 years ago!  ‍‍

God is good!  

Grace, your time was 34:15 for this race .... which puts you around the same pace as our last Girls on the Run 5K .... but this race was a lot more hilly!  Wow!  Way to go! 

Joshua, you and daddy got back home around 2:30pm today.  You had a blast and I'm so proud of you!  Other kids in your patrol had some problems (home sickness, not paying attention to rules, etc) but you and Gavin (your friend and tent mate) did great and had fun!  You all told us stories from the week.  You're really close to reaching the Tenderfoot rank now and you earned a few merit badges.  Way to go!  I'm so proud of you and also glad to have the entire family home again together!
