Dearest Miracles-Happy Memorial Day!
We started off by chalking the school. This is the second to last week of school before summer break. That means this week is EOG testing for 3rd to 5th grade (End Of Grade). So, good luck to Grace and Joshua .... I'm confident you all will do wonderfully!
Gigi, Grandpa Jim, and Uncle James came over and spent the day with us since we all had off from work and school. We grilled hamburgers and hotdogs. We also baked Dorothy's Chocolate Pie (my grandma's recipe) and pumpkin chocolate chip bread. We played in the cul-de-sac a lot and met our new neighbors from Illinois (the House family - Sam, Charlotte, and Lilly - moved a few weeks ago).
