Christmas Lights And The Bethlehem Star
Dearest Miracles-Happy Monday! You all are on Winter Break, so no school for you all. But, Grace still got to see her teacher Mrs Paradise! She drove around and hand delivered a gift to all her students to put under the tree! How sweet! Mrs Paradise was Joshua's 1st grade teacher, so it was nice for her to see him too! In fact, all five of you all came out to say Merry Christmas!
I had a physical therapy appointment today. Becki, my therapist, really worked my shoulder more. I'm not having as much pain as I did a few weeks ago, so that's great!
Today was the great conjunction .... or the Bethlehem Star! Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions happen every 20 years; the last one was in the year 2000. But these conjunctions aren't all created equal. The 2020 great conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn will be the closest since 1623 and the closest observable since 1226! Saturn and Jupiter have not been this observable since medieval times — almost 800 years ago, according to a CBS News story. The phenomenon has been named the Christmas Star because of its closeness to the Christmas holiday this year. We all went out into the cul-de-sac to see it! We barely saw it through the trees!
Then, we went in the van and drove all through the neighborhood to see the Christmas lights. I took photos and videos when I could. You all had fun! When we got back to the cul-de-sac we had smores with the other kids and visited with friends before bedtime. :-)
Sleep tight little ones!
I love you all so much!
