Mother's Day

Dearest Spud/Tater, Peanut, Biscuit, Cookie Dough, and Coconut-

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms, all the moms-to-be, all the future moms, and all the moms who have passed. :-)

You all got me some fun bagels for breakfast this morning! Then, you all gave me all the wonderful things you all made at school for me! Grace, you made a handprint into the letter 'O' for the word LOVE! Joshua, you wrote and colored a book about me! Faith, you gave me my gift on friday, but it was your handprint as a cupcake! I love them all! :-) You all also got me some CDs, a book, and a new flag for our front porch. :-)

Gigi, Grandpa Jim, and Uncle James came over so we could have a fun lunch at Dickeys BBQ! We have Gigi her gift .... we made a 'garden' for her from your handprints. Grace said that you all always pick flowers for Gigi when you go on walks during sleepovers. So, we wanted to create something that would represent the flowers since that's the memory that you all have with Gigi .... picking flowers for her. :-)

Everyone had a wonderful visit and we got to go to the park this afternoon. I got some photographs of you all too! One was with you 5 and Grandpa Jim on the slide. Ha!

Thank you for such a wonderful Mother's Day! You 5, and daddy, are the reasons why I am a mother .... and you all are my gifts!
