Tubes Placed

Dearest Precious Children-

Twins .... we were up bright and early this morning! I had to get you all to Rex by 5:30am for your surgeries, so my alarm went off at 4:30am. Whew! ;-)

You all behaved so well! All the nurses fell in love with you both! You all wore little surgical gowns and socks .... though you all pulled the socks off. ;-) The procedure itself didn't take long .... about 15 minutes! But, you all had to be put to sleep in order for the tubes to be placed. We have ear drops to use for the next 5 days. Jeremiah, you threw up a little afterward, but I throw up after anesthetic too .... so you must have inherited that from me. Ha! :-)

I normally work Tuesdays, so this was my day off. I got to relax with you all the rest of the day. We were home around 9am and you all napped as I walked on the treadmill. You all ate around noon and did well. We played this afternoon. It was fun hanging out with just the two of you. ;-)

Daddy took the older three to school. Joshua, you didn't have a special so you got extra recess. Grace, you had fun painting and Faith played alphabet bingo. :-)

Grandpa Jim came over this afternoon so I could pick you three up. He played with the twins while we were out. :-)

I hope these tubes help drain the fluid from your ears and you all are able to hear better. And, hopefully that will help with speech too!
