CDSA
Dearest Blessings-
After kindergarten drop off, the Child Development Service Agency (CDSA) came to examine Jacob. The pediatrician was worried about his speech at the last appointment (and Jeremiah too). Jeremiah is already in the CDSA. Overall, Jacob did pretty well. There were no concerns for his gross motor skills or fine motor. He did pretty well with the problem solving pieces.
He got dinged on speech .... which wasn't a surprise. His receptive speech (what he understands) scored around an 11 month old. His expressive speech (what he says) scored around a 7 month old. These scores brought him down so that his overall score was below normal. He qualifies for their services, so he will be assigned to Blythe, who is Jeremiah's service coordinator. She'll call me to schedule a hearing evaluation for both boys.
I also scheduled Joshua for an evaluation to see the pediatrician next week. I think he needs a sleep study. He snores very loudly and gets cranky. I don't think he's sleeping as be should be.
When the twins and Faith took a nap, Grace and I had a tea party. :-) Then we picked up Joshua from school.
You had a good day at school. It was nice out so you had recess and got a green behavior score.
I picked on the mandolin as you all played once home. I also helped Joshua with his homework. We ate dinner when daddy got home.
Sleep tight little ones!
I love you all so much!
