Dearest Gifts~
After breakfast this morning we all headed up to the park for the 'Fall Fest' celebration in the neighborhood for the Fourth of July! They had bounce castles, food, and a guy with exotic animals to show off. Faith mainly wanted to me held .... though daddy and I found it amusing watching her eat an entire chocolate covered donut by herself! Haha! Joshua and Grace loved the bounce castle .... you all spent most of the time in there.
The animal guy had an alligator, huge tortoise, owl, and huge snake. Joshua and I touched the snake and tortoise! Joshua, you're a brave little man!
By 11am the celebration was over so we walked back home .... we had played at the park for 2 hours at that point. Whew!
Everyone ate a lunch and I prepared a sausage and egg casserole for tomorrow morning. We'll bake it then. Tomorrow is Gigi's birthday so we're having a brunch at our house tomorrow to celebrate. ;-)
After lunch we relaxed upstairs. Daddy and Joshua played some Mario Cart as the girls and I watched. Joshua was so cute .... he told me to 'rest Coconut and Cookie Dough' .... ha! Then we had rest time. All three of you all ended up napping so I went on the exercise bike next to you all as daddy ran on the treadmill downstairs.
Once everyone was awake we wrapped Gigi's birthday gift and went outside. You all played as I vacuumed out the van and daddy cleaned the seats. We took all the car seats inside to clean tomorrow.
Everyone ate their dinners. So afterward we relaxed upstairs and watched Dumbo. I have to confess that Dumbo is one of my least favorite movies, so I went on the computer. :-P
