Go USA!

Dearest Miracles~

Well, since you all were awake early, we got a lot of things done.  As you all ate breakfast, I went ahead and cooked my lunches for work this week and cooked dinner.  USA plays tonight at 6pm, and we really want to watch!  I breaded some chicken and cooked it on the stove.  Then, I baked the pieces and added tortellini and sauce.  ;-)

By 9am, we had:
-eaten breakfast
-gotten dressed and brushed teeth
-cooked lunches and dinner for tonight
-watered plants on porch
-filled up pool with water so it warms up for the afternoon
-cleaned the kitchen

Whew .... we relaxed a bit before we left to go to Preschool story time at the library!

Library time was fun.  We learned about sharing and the letters 'sh' and what sound they make together.  All the books and songs were about sharing and caring!  Nice reminder since you all don't always do that with your toys.  :-P  You all got stickers and stamps on your arms afterward.  And, you three enjoyed popping the bubbles at the end.  ;-)  Everyone cooperated, though Faith got a little 'active' at the end.

Everyone had lunch once home.  Faith took a little nap on the drive home so I let her sleep a little more as I prepared lunch.  After lunch, we gathered our towels and headed to the front porch.  Joshua and Grace slipped off their shirts and shorts and just played around in their underwear in the pool!  ;-)  Honestly, that was easier than bathing suits!  ;-)  Faith did not want to go into the pool, so she played around on the porch near me and even sat on a chair next to me at times.  I told you all we had one hour to play, or until all the water was splashed out of the pool .... whichever came first.  Surprisingly, we made it the full hour with a bare minimum of about a centimeter of water left in there.  ;-P  And, I filled it pretty good to start with.

By 1:40pm, we were upstairs in clean clothes, drinking water, and laying down for rest time.  Surprisingly, you three all took a nap!  I read and also rested.

Daddy got to sneak out a little early from work so we could eat dinner together and then watch the 6pm USA vs Ghana World Cup game!

We scored in the first 32 seconds of the game .... which was the sixth fastest scoring in World Cup history. Whoa!   You all had a bath during half time.  And .... we won!  Go USA! :-)

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you all so much!
