Joshua, you were up and eating breakfast early this morning! Whoa! The girls helped me drop you off at school and your classroom had muffins out for Mother's Day! So, I had a little blueberry muffin! Then, you handed me your gift that you made at school .... you painted a little flower pot and planted a little marigold .... two little leaves were sticking up from the soil. It was so cute!
The girls helped me make a trip to the Dollar Tree afterward .... we picked out a lot of new outdoor toys since we cleaned off the porch last weekend. Then, we headed to Target for some milk and other small items. We made it back to the house to see Uncle Brennan briefly. He came to borrow the lawnmower so you all got to visit with him.
After, we played downstairs before you all had some lunch. Then you all went down for nap time as I did some reading.
Joshua, you had a great day at school and were playing outside when I picked you up. You all made a recipe book with your favorite recipes that everyone's moms make .... your story was so cute about chicken nuggets and fries! I read all the stories and your story was the only one that said we said a prayer before meals! I almost cried when I read that! Sometimes I feel like I'm not a good mother, but then you all do something so sweet like this and I feel like I've done something good. ;-)
This evening we all relaxed when daddy got home. Joshua had a headache so he fell asleep pretty fast. Grace went to bed shortly after. Faith, you stayed awake for a long time. :-P
