Dearest Joshua David, Grace Elizabeth, and Faith Olivia~
Daddy left around 5:15am for this half marathon this morning .... Grandpa Jim is doing the full marathon. I was the only one awake to wish him good luck! ;-)
Once you all were up, we ate breakfast with Uncle James and then went back upstairs and played Nintendo games with him until Stephanie, Charlie, and Madelynn were awake. They are late risers!
Daddy and Grandpa Jim did well with their races .... both finished with great times! Daddy did 2 hours 26 minutes .... wow! That's impressive for his first half marathon! Way to go daddy!
Once everyone was showered, we all gathered together for lunch at Steph's house. We saw Stephanie, Charlie, Madelynn, Grandpa Jim, Uncle James, Gigi, Aunt Beth, and Lois. You all played some more Nintendo games afterward as Stephanie made some homemade cookies! It was cold and rainy out at this point!
By 3pm we loaded up and headed back home. You three napped on the drive as it rained. We were home by dinner. We rain laundry this evening after dinner and then you three had a bath before bedtime. What a fun weekend at the beach with family!
