Vacation

Dearest Gifts~

No work today .... yippie!  I'm on vacation!  The girls helped me drop Joshua off at school.  I had to reset my alarm last night since it was set earlier for work!  Ha!  I'll have to remember to turn it off completely for tomorrow .... no work and no school!  ;-)

Once we got home, the girls helped me do some chores around the house: 

-ran laundry .... we did the sheets on Joshua's bed since he wet himself last night through the pull up
-prepared dinner .... marinated steaks and cooked them on the stove.  Then, cut and cooked asparagus, onions, potatoes, corn .... this will be a good dinner!
-Grace, you helped me cut the onions and potatoes with your smaller cutting board and black, plastic knife

-unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher .... I think we run that machine once a day

Before lunch, the garage man came to look at our doors.  One isn't working right.  You all started on lunch while he looked at some things.  He left right when you all were finishing.  

By 12:30pm we were upstairs for rest time.  I did 90 minutes on the exercise bike as you all napped.  After nap time, Grace ended up wetting herself.  That's two days in a row little lady! 

Joshua had a great day at school, but he ended up wetting himself during his nap time too!  Weird!  Once we picked Joshua up, we all headed to Harris Teeter for a quick trip.  We had no milk in the house.  All three of you all rode in the race car cart and you all ate one cookie each.  ;-)

Once home, you all ate dinner.  Then, we played until daddy got home.  I ate dinner with daddy as you all played in the living room. 

Tomorrow is another vacation day!  Yippie!  Lets think of something fun to do!
