Dearest Joshua David, Grace Elizabeth, and Faith Olivia~
Little Grace, you woke up at 1am this morning crying. I laid down next to you and fell asleep
sharing a twin bed with you and lots of stuffed animals. ;-) By 5am, Faith woke up, so I changed
bedrooms to nurse her. :-P
We had some photo fun this morning with the camera. I needed an updated picture of you all
and it's been a while since I practiced with the camera. I set up the tripod and played with the
flash some, since I need to learn how to use it better. Some photographs turned out ok
;-) It’s so hard to get you all to look at me and smile at the same
time. I danced behind the camera
and shook rattles to get you all to laugh … oh my!
Everyone ate their lunch afterwards and then we headed out
for some errands. We had to return our outside Elmo decoration. It stopped working last night. Poo. We still have our stars and Mickey though! Daddy and I tried to fix the Elmo, but
it wasn’t something that we could do.
It was so funny seeing you all watch us because we had to take Elmo’s
head off to see what was going on inside!
Haha! I guess we should not
have done that in front of you all!
;-) After we returned Elmo
(the store didn’t have another to replace it), we picked up a few things from
Target. We needed milk and a
birthday gift from a coworker. ;-)
We headed to speech with Gloria right after. Joshua, you did well and continued to
work on 'l' sounds and conversations.
You all helped me cook dinner when we got back home. We used ground turkey meat to make
meatloaf. We also made a pasta
side on the stove as it baked.
Quinn came for Joshua’s second speech appointment as the
meatloaf was baking. You worked on
's' and 'l' sounds and moving your tongue (oral motor exercises). By 4:30pm, we were all upstairs. I did a quick 60 minutes on the
exercise bike.
When daddy got home, we had already eaten dinner and were
playing. Daddy brought you all
some cupcakes from work. Joshua,
you like the cupcake part without icing.
Grace, you only like the icing!
Joshua and Grace, you both got a bath this evening. I ended up nursing Faith and she fell
asleep. You’ll get a bath later. ;-)
Sleep tight little ones!
I love you all so much!
~Mommy
