Race Car

Dearest Joshua David, Grace Elizabeth, and Faith Olivia~

Faith, you were awake all night/morning since midnight crying.  I 'think' we were all sleeping again by 3am.  Daddy and I were tired getting ready this morning. 

The girls helped me drop Joshua off at school.  Then we made a quick trip to Harris Teeter for some milk.  Grace and Faith rode the race car cart … it was Faith’s first time and loved it!  You both ate a sugar cookie while there too!  ;-)

We were back by 10am and I did 60 minutes on the treadmill.  Grace played and Faith took a little nap.  Grace, you helped me prepare dinner while we ate lunch together.  You cut the onions …. we made some scalloped potatoes with steak and veggies!  Yummy!  Daddy will be surprised!

After Faith woke and had lunch we went upstairs.  Grace rested as Faith played.  I did a quick 30 minutes on the exercise bike.  I asked Grace what she napped about once she woke up and she said ‘butterflies and rainbows’ … so cute!  ;-) 

Joshua, you had a good day at school.  You gave your teachers a Christmas gift … gift cards to their favorite restaurant and a Christmas card.  Today’s show and share had to do with the letter ‘I’ … you brought a race car from Italy.  ;-)

We made a quick stop at a store after picking up Joshua.  You all helped me pick up one more thing for daddy for Christmas.  ;-)  Then, we came home and cooked our steaks, potatoes, and veggies. 

This evening we played.  Everyone got baths before bedtime.
