Birthday Month

Dearest Blessings~

Happy Birthday month!  Woo hoo!  Ha!  Faith and I share a birthday month and birthday week!  Yippie!  Faith, what do you want for your first birthday?  ;-)

Faith, you woke at 5am to nurse .... that's much better than your 2am-4am wake up session yesterday.  Joshua and Grace crawled into our bed by 5:30am ..... it was crowded at that point!  I couldn't go back to sleep, so I ended up going to the bonus room and doing 90 minutes on the exercise bike.

Joshua ended up sleeping in.  So, we relaxed this morning and didn't make it to church.  We did some crafts instead .... we made more ornaments for our tree!  You all helped us sweep and vacuum the downstairs.  We also ran laundry.  I gave Faith a bath since she didn't get one yesterday.  I put you in the crib afterward so I could quickly do something and you ended up falling asleep when I turned my back!  Wow!  Your eye was crusty this morning .... I hope it clears up soon.

Joshua and Grace ate pretty well for lunch.  We all stayed downstairs after since Faith was napping. You all helped me prepare dinner for later .... Joshua and Grace both helped cut some onions and added them to some potatoes and corn to bake.  We'll cook the turkey burgers later to go with all that.  ;-)

You all had rest time by 1pm.  Grace fell asleep immediately.  Faith, you woke and then fell back asleep on daddy .... you must not be feeling well still.  By 2pm everyone in the house was sleeping by me.  I did some reading and worked on making an Advent Calendar for us.  The calendar took a lot of work .... I made Bible verses for each day leading up to Christmas and taped everything together on a board.  We read the first part of the Christmas story after dinner .... Joshua wanted to hear more!  Ha!  I'm glad you're excited about the birth of our Lord!  :-)

After dinner, we watched the UNC basketball game, though it wasn't that fun to watch.  We didn't play that well and lost.  I picked some mandolin and daddy picked some guitar.

Grace, you've had several wet accidents in the past few days.  If we tell you to use the potty you need to listen to us.  :-P

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you all so much!

~Mommy
