World Prematurity Day

Dearest Blessings~

Today is World Prematurity Day .... when we focus everyone’s attention on the global problem of premature birth.  The March of Dimes is a large sponsor in helping to raise awareness.  All across the world, builds were lit in purple (the March of Dimes color) in support.  It was fun to see famous places lit up for such a great cause.  The Empire State Building was in purple this evening .... as was Cinderella's Castle in Disney World!  :-)

Faith, you woke around 1am crying and noodled into our bed.  Joshua and Grace woke around 7am.  Faith, you were still napping at that time.  :-P

We made it to church this morning.  Gigi was off this sunday, so we didn't get to see her play, but we still had fun.  Joshua went to church school.  Grace and Faith stayed with daddy and me for the music and sermon.  Faith got antsy with about 20 minutes left, so we took her out to walk around with her.  Grace wanted to follow so we walked around looking at the Christmas decorations that were being set up.  ;-)

After church, we had lunch with Grandpa Mike.  He's been out of the country for a while with work.  We ate around the corner at a restaurant and you all did pretty well.  Faith left a little pile of Cheerios under her chair that we tried to clean before leaving.  ;-)

We made a quick trip to Ace Hardware after.  Daddy picked up some things for the yard so we can finish our work before winter really starts.  When we got home, we played outside as daddy did some yard work.  He fertilized and did some seeding.  Then he put down some top soil.  Grace and Joshua played with their bikes and then helped water the top soil.  I put little shoes on Faith, but she was hesitant walking on the driveway.  It was something new for her!

You all helped me make some pumpkin bread when we came back inside.  My work is having their Thanksgiving Pot Luck lunch this thursday and I signed up for pumpkin bread.  We made two loaves so we can keep one here for us.  We put chocolate chips in there too.  Yummy!  ;-)

You all had a little bit of rest time after.  Grace actually took a nap.  Joshua did not.  Then, we watched UNC play basketball.  It was not a fun game to watch .... we lost.  Ugh.

Everyone got a bath this evening before bed.  Joshua, you taught us something as we were saying our prayers .... we didn't know you knew the Pledge of Allegiance!  Wow!  You learned it at school and said it for us .... it was very impressive!  :-)  I am so proud of you!

Sleep tight little ones!

I love you all so much!
