Verterans Day

Dearest Miracles~

Today is Veterans Day!  This is the day that we celebrate all persons who are served, or are currently serving, in the Armed Forces.  To make a distinction .... Memorial Day celebrates those who have died in the service of our country in the Armed Forces.  Veterans Day celebrates ALL servicemen and women .... past, present, and even future.  ;-)

Grace noodled into our bed to sleep last night.  Everyone ended up sleeping the whole night!  Even Faith didn't wake until 7am.  It was 11 hours since our last nursing session!  Wow!

The girls helped me drop Joshua off at school.  Then, we came back home to do a few chores and pack and bag.  Since today is a federal and state holiday, Gigi had off from work.  So, we headed to her house to have lunch together.  :-)

Everyone ate well for lunch.  We played 'hair' a lot with Gigi.  Gigi has a lot of hair clips and curlers.  Grace had a blast!  I took photographs of you all playing.  We tried to teach you all checkers with a big blanket board and big pieces.  But, it turned into a tossing game with Grace, and Faith chewed on the big pieces.  ;-)  We saw Uncle James too, but he didn't feel completely well because of his allergies.   

After lunch we had rest time.  Grace and Faith both napped.  I read some.  Once you all were awake, we loaded up and headed to Joshua's school to pick him up. 

Joshua had a good day at school!  But, you all had a fire drill and it scared you.  You ended up pooping in your pants.  Uh oh!  I had a spare set of clothes in your book bag, but had apparently forgotten to put underwear in there .... so you went home commando!  Haha!  ;-)

I tested the new treadmill for 20 minutes once home since you all were playing.  Then I gave you all some dinner.  When you all were content, we went upstairs to play.  I did a quick 30 minutes on the exercise bike.

Daddy was home late.  We all played this evening before bed.  :-)
