Happy Thanksgiving! Gobble gobble! Ha! Today is a national holiday to give thanks for the blessings all around us. It is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November.
Faith and Grace woke with heavy runny noses. Faith was a little irritable so we gave her some medicine this morning. Grace ended up taking some too.
This morning we all relaxed and watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade in New York on the television. I nursed Faith to calm her. Some of the floats for the parade were pretty good! Some were ok. :-P You all liked the big balloons of different characters and Santa at the end. ;-) It was fun seeing all the people sing and dance. It was cold this year .... only 31 degrees for those people in NY who were watching it live! Wow!
We went to (Great) Uncle Laurence's house by 1pm. We saw him and (Great) Aunt Marti, Gigi, (Great) Aunt Beth, (Great) Uncle David, Peter, Great Grandpa, Rosemary, Erik, and Mia. You all had fun visiting. There were two tables set up. We were at the kids table with you all, Erik, and Mia. ;-) We joined the adults once you all were done eating .... which was sooner than later since you all didn't eat a lot. :-P You all had a great time playing with Mia and Erik. You ran around and played TV games.
There was lots of food .... turkey, potatoes, green bean casserole, spinach, pies, cakes, cookies, breads, and more! I ate too much! ;-)
Faith still wasn't feeling completely well, so I walked/rocked her to sleep. You took a tiny nap.
We left around 6pm and you all had a small dinner once home. We had play time upstairs afterward and I picked some mandolin. ;-) Faith, you got some more medicine this evening .... your nose is still pretty runny. Joshua, you fell asleep during story time before bed. Everyone was tired from such a fun day. ;-)

Sleep tight little ones!
I love you all so much!
