Citizenship In Society

Dearest Miracles-

Happy Sunday!  I did photography duty at church this morning.  You all came with daddy and went to the first service.  

After church, we hosted the Citizenship in Society merit badge for Joshua, Grace, Faith, Gavin, and Aubrey.  Daddy did a PowerPoint presentation and we held it in the video game room in the basement to use one of the televisions.  I was there just for 2 deep leadership .... daddy led the merit badge.  

Jacob and Jeremiah, you two played at Ronin's house.   We were done by 3:30pm.   This was the last Eagle required Merit Badge that Joshua and Grace needed.  :-)

This evening we watched The Santa Clause before bedtime.

Christmas Tree In Basement

Happy Saturday!

This morning was the last taekwondo weapons and self defense class of 2025.  Jacob was my partner for the self defense portion.  

This afternoon we got some cleaning done.   Girls, you set up the extra Christmas tree in the video game room in the basement.  It looks nice!  

After dinner we watched Christmas Vacation before bedtime.

Skittles And Santa

Happy FriYAY!  

Today was the last day of school for 2025!  Jacob and Jeremiah, you both got to wear pajamas and watch movies.  Mrs Payne dressed like Skittles, an Elf on the Shelf, during the morning carpool lane.  Mr Craft dressed like Santa for the West Millbrook morning carpool lane.  :-)

I had my work Christmas party today.  We did our secret Santa.  Mandi had me and got me a UNC bogg bag with a nice blanket!   I had Malika and it was funny seeing her unwrap her gifts in the multiple boxes and bags I pranked her with.  It was hilarious when she noticed her gift card in the water jug Grace helped me wrap.  Haha!  Thankfully she has a good sense of humor.  :-)

This evening watched Jingle All The Way and the 1966 Grinch.

Wrapped More Presents

Happy Thursday!  Today was a work and school day for everyone.   Joshua and Grace, you all had Bible Club after school.  

This evening we wrapped some more presents.   Tomorrow is the last school day of 2025!  And my office Christmas party!  Woo hoo!

White Picket Fence Projec

 Dearest Miracles-

Happy Wednesday!  

I got to help out in Jacob and Jeremiah's classrooms today!  Welcome to the White Picket Fence Project.  🥰  I had fun helping these 5th graders with their legacy art project at Abbotts Creek Elementary School.  🎨🖌️  You all are each painting a picket for a fence with a painting of yourself.  Then they'll all be wired and placed outside the school as your 5th grade legacy.  I took pictures of you two painting and of your pickets.  

After school, we had a meeting with Ms Brady about next semester's Matilda play .... Faith, you're the stage manager!  Way to go!

This evening, Grace you had your Eagle Project proposal meeting and got district approval!  You'll be teaching people how to crochet and making baby blankets for the Wake Med NICU!  Woo hoo!

God is good!  😀

Cancer Free

 Dearest Precious Angels-

Happy Tuesday!  Today was a work and school day for everyone.  Grace and Joshua, you had Key Club after school. You all made holiday decorations for the hospital.  

I got home around 6pm.  Daddy made tacos and the girls helped me wrap some Christmas gifts.  You all got creative and wrapped gifts in different shapes to fool people!  Haha!

Late this evening I got a text message from my cousin Stephanie .... Lois passed away.  The good news is that she's now cancer free!  Aunt Beth is a mess.  Please keep her in your prayers!

Coldest Day Of The Year

Happy Monday!  Today was a work and school day for everyone.  It was also the coldest day of the year .... it was in the teens this morning and the high was in the 30s.  Brrr!

Jacob, you had Library Leaders this morning before school.  

I took everyone to taekwondo class this evening.  Now everyone has two black stripes!
