Rainy Day

Dearest Miracles-

Happy Tuesday!  Today was a school and work day for anyone not on summer vacation.   It was also a rainy day.   It was just a light sprinkle early in the morning .... so we still had Mileage Club before school.  I did a 2 mile run on the Greenway trails while the twins went to Mileage Club.  The rest of the day was straight rain.  

Grace, we found out today that North Wake is cutting their Early Childhood Education program .... the program you applied for.  So now we need to make some decisions about high school for next year.

Memorial Day

 Dearest Precious Angels-

Happy Memorial Day!  

Today was a cloudy day with off and on rain.   So, the Villains challenged the Heroes to another game of bowling.   ;-)

Here were the tams again:

Heroes:  Gigi, Daddy, Joshua, Faith, Jeremiah 

Villains:  Me, Grandpa Jim, Uncle James, Grace, Jacob

The Heroes won the first game and the Villains won the second game.  So, the overall series is still tied 2-2.  :-)  We had lunch together at Shane's Rib Shack afterwards.  

This afternoon we relaxed at home and played games together before bedtime.   :-)

Photography At Church

Happy Sunday!

Daddy played in the Praise Team this morning and I did the photography for church.  Joshua, you didn't wake up in time so you missed both rides to church.  Everyone else went and Grandpa Jim met us there.   

I ended up loading 28 photos for the church to use .... Pastor Andy ended up using 18 of those this afternoon on social media .... one was of Faith!  Woo hoo!

This afternoon we did some chores around the house and then I took you all to the pool.   We had dinner at home after.   :-)

Cadette Journey, God And Life, and God And Family

 Dearest Miracles-

Happy Saturday!   I took you all to the weapons taekwondo class this morning and then we came home to get some chores done.  

Faith, you got an hour done of the Girl Scout Cadette Media Journey.   Joshua and Grace, you got lesson one of done for the God and Life award.  Jacob and Jeremiah, you got lesson one done for the God and Family award.  I helped all 5 of you all which took us to about 12:30pm.  

After lunch, we spent two hours at the pool.  The water is still cold but we had fun.  The weather itself was gorgeous today!  You all played outside while I picked up some pizzas for dinner.  

Daddy was back home during our Nintendo Switch tournament battles before bedtime.  :-)

First Swim Of The Season

 Dearest Precious Angels-

Happy FriYAY!  Today was gorgeous weather .... in the 70s!  I did my first swim of the season in the neighborhood pool this morning.  The water temperature was registering 74.3 degrees.   It was chilly but I got use to it.  ;-)

After school I took you all to taekwondo sparring class.  We now have all the stripes we need for testing next month!   Ht we still need to continue to practice.  I took you all to Chick Fil A for a fun dinner since we're on vacation until Tuesday!  :-) 

Daddy has Cub Scout training this evening for BALOO training. So he is camping until tomorrow night.  Jacob and Jeremiah kept me company this evening sleeping in my bed .... and brought about 100 stuffed animals with them!  Haha!

Worked In Garden More

Happy Thursday!  

Grace, you and Mackenzie worked on your sensory garden at Abbott's Creek Elementary after school today.  It's really coming along and looking good!  :-)

I took the other 4 to taekwondo class.  Our next belt testing is June 13th .... so less than a month away.  We still need our Sparring Stripe .... which we will hopefully get tomorrow.  

This evening we watched some television before bedtime.

Church Night

Happy Wednesday!  

Happy Summer Break to Joshua!  The rest of you kiddos have until June 13!  ;-)

Joshua and I took Cinnamon for a walk this afternoon.  She did pretty well .... until she turned into a hot little mess when she saw the neighbor's dog at the end.  Haha!

This evening daddy and I both had church .... he had Praise Team practice and I had a Photography Team meeting.  So we got to practice while they were practicing.  Ha!  We didn't get home until after 9pm .... Joshua and Grace were in charge at the house.  :-)
