Happy New Year!

 Dearest Joshua David, Grace Elizabeth, Faith Olivia, Jacob Samuel, and Jeremiah William-

Happy New Year!  I can't believe all 7 of us stayed awake until midnight to watch the ball drop!  Our power actually went out about 10 minutes before the ball drop twice.  By the time the cable reset, we had about 49 seconds to count down until the new year on tbe television!  I think we were all sleeping by 1am.  ;-)

Because of the late night, we slept in.  :-)  I think it was about 8am before we started breakfast .... which is late for all of us! 

Grandpa Jim came over by about 9am.  He helped us pick up a used basketball hoop from a neighbor down the street who was selling theirs.  We used his truck and we had it set up in the cul-de-sac by about 10:30am.  :-)  You all love it!  It ended up being a colder and rainy day, but maybe we can use it more tomorrow.  :-)

We cleaned/organized some and watched shows together since the weather icky.  It was a nice day to just relax together to ring in the new year!   :-)
