Happy New Year's Eve
Dearest Precious Gifts-Happy New Year's Eve! :-)
We took a load to the church Thrift Store to donate this morning. It's nice to get some things out of our house! Daddy worked in the master bathroom again water proofing the walls some more.
I worked some on our photo video movie. I still have a lot to do to edit it, but it's coming along and will hopefully be something you all enjoy for years to come.
I gathered my training numbers even though there were no races this year:
Swim - 175 mi
Bike - 4210 mi
Run - 805 mi
Strength Sessions - 150
Total SBR miles - 5190
Ave SBR miles a week - 99.81
Not too bad considering the gym was closed for 13 weeks. So, no swimming for 13 weeks, or I would have averaged more than 100 mi/week. ;-)
Last year I ran 804 miles. I told Grace that I needed to run 2 miles today to tie last year. Grace immediately said, 'well that means you need to run 3 miles so you can beat it!' You're a tough coach, but you were right! ;-) All my numbers were better than last year, except the swim .... but again the pool was closed for 13 weeks.
We had our annual Bojangles for New Year's Eve dinner. Then we all stayed awake until midnight to ring in the new year of 2021! Hopefully, we'll continue to stay safe and healthy considering we're still in the middle of a global pandemic. We watched the ball drop in Times Square in New York. I'm impressed we all stayed awake! Haha!
It was a trying year .... but we were still blessed in many ways. God is good!
Sleep tight little ones!
I love you all so much!
