5 Year Check

Dearest Angels-

Today is (Great) Aunt Peans's birthday. :-)

Grace, you had your 5 year pediatric appointment today. You passed all the tests with flying colors. ;-) You are 34 lbs and just shy of 41 inches. You passed the hearing and vision tests. The doctor gave me a referral for speech therapy since you have trouble with the 'l' (making it a w - like pway instead of play) .... and the letter 's' you lisp. So, I'll call them next week to see when you can have an evaluation.

You did have to have 3 shots in your leg at the end. I had to help hold you (which I hated) and you cried and screamed. But, we got through it. I think Faith and the twins were terrified once you were done! Oh my!

I'm so thankful you are healthy! What blessings you 5 are!

Once home we made chocolate chip muffins for fun since Grace likes them. We also prepared and set aside our M&M pancakes and bacon for dinner. ;-)

Daddy came home early from work so he joined us in the carpool lane to get Joshua! You had a good day .... you had PE and got a green behavior score! Way to go!

This evening we had a late bedtime since we watched the movie The Good Dinosaur.
